BOHR is looking for quality CNC Machinists to add to our team!

Location: Germantown, WI
Starting Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift: 1st or 2nd (both available) 40 hour work week with overtime available
Pay: Depends on experience
Required Education: HS Diploma/GED

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to set up/run with some editing required
  • Load/unload parts from machine. Measure and inspect. Make dimensional adjustments (offsets).
  • Resolve and communicate problems/issues to attention of Plant Manager
  • Accurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets
  • Follows verbal and/or written instructions such as blueprints, traveler, work instruction, process specifications, sketches, and direction from supervisor in completing a variety of machining and inspection tasks
  • Work efficiently to achieve targeted goals
  • Learn Good Machining Practices, programming code, tooling, setups, and inspection techniques

Requirements:

  • GOOD ATTITUDE
  • Good work history with strong attendance record
  • Excellent references
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • 4+ years experience:
    • CNC mills & Lathes
    • G code, FANUC Controls
    • Extra consideration given to candidates with HMC or VTL experience
  • Bohr has conventional CNC Mills & Lathes, HMC w/pallet changers, VTL’s: experience with any or all of these machines is required
  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings
  • Clean, organized, and multi-task capability to operate multiple machines.
  • Team player, open to new ideas and team work, self-motivated individual, willingness to continually strive to increase personal knowledge and value.
  • Above average manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
  • Shop math/Intermediate Math skills in geometric and trigonometric formulas a plus.
  • Visual inspection with the use of a caliper on parts with attention to detail is a must.
  • Flexible, reliable, self-starting team player with ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willing to grow with the company.

BOHR is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to add to our team!

Location: Germantown, WI

Employment Type: Full Time

Required Education: HS Diploma/GED

Responsibilities:

  • Manage quality issues: receiving inspection, production process control and final inspection
  • Comply with all Quality standards including ISO quality processes and customer quality processes
  • Support the efforts of the Plant Manager, President
  • Become informed and practiced in customer and supplier relations.
  • Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service.
  • Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
  • Visit and consult with customers and/or suppliers, as needed.
  • Give input into sales as it relates to quality functions.
  • Maintain active role in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate and maintain corrective and preventive actions.
  • Implement and maintain the quality management system.
  • Measure and control quality in the quality management process.
  • Formulate, document and maintain quality standards and on-going quality objectives.
  • Training and support of quality procedures.
  • Other duties, as requested.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in an Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment leading or managing a quality department.
  • Working Knowledge of Root Cause / Corrective Action Analysis, ISO Standards, and Cause and Effect Diagrams.
  • Ability to self-motivate, motivate staff, manage personal time, and estimate one’s own time to completion accurately.
  • Ability to communicate well with others and work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to carryout detailed problem solving and communicate how problems were resolved.
  • Understanding and experience with ISO-9001:2015 or ISO-9001:2008 (or an equivalent QMS) in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong employee relations skills, including coaching and communication
